x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	With the release of the Stanmore Resources quarterly results made one week earlier compared to last year' s, I hope GEAR will be in a position to announce good news to minority shareholders in SGX!  Their 64.01% owned Australian subsidiary, Stanmore Resources, has been their prized catch. Their buyout of BMC Mitsui coal mines (done in 2 stages) has been magnificently timed, resulting in breaking of their all-time high share prices these few days. Stanmore' s share price has moved from below A$1 at the start of this year to A$2.88 thus far. The share price is likely to move up further in the days and weeks ahead!  With their Indonesian subsidiary, GEMS, doing very well also this FY, the SOTP value of GEAR should be at least S$1.50 easily ...  I think the Widjaja family has the opportunity to bring GEAR to greater heights!  Am expecting a fair value offer from them this week!  If not, GEAR should let us know whether this possible acquisition is still on the table or not. Catrade      ( Date: 18-Oct-2022 15:10) Posted:   Widjaja family doesnt make decision base on chart... its the fundamental of GEAR the main 3 businesses GEMS (Thermal coal), Stanmore (Metallurgical coal) & Ravenswood (Gold mines). These 3 commmodities r highly in demand globally (near all time high), n its projected earnings r very tempting that this shrewd Indonesia family would want to keep it within the family..... Now the consideration is the price! and it wouldn' t be below $1.29 that KGI valued in March' 22.(if I remember correctly its GEAR that paid KGI to write the report). Since then GEAR grew even bigger with additional 20% of BHP Mitsui mine). Looking at the combine GEMS & Stanmore market capitalizations, Golden is worth much much more! So don' t use chart to for this stock... unless u r a trader n shortists..Be careful BBs r still accumulating...
