AWARD OF S$36.6 MILLION CONSULTANCY CONTRACT BY THE LAND TRANSPORT AUTHORITYThe Board of Directors (&ldquo Directors&rdquo ) of Tritech Group Limited (the &ldquo Company&rdquo and together with its subsidiaries, the &ldquo Group&rdquo ) wishes to announce that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Tritech Consultants Pte Ltd (&ldquo Tritech Consultants&rdquo ), had on 7 June 2016, been awarded a S$36.6 million contract, titled &ldquo Contract T3131 Provision of Qualified Person (&ldquo QP&rdquo ) Services of Thomson-East Coast Line Contracts T313 and T315&rdquo (the &ldquo Contract&rdquo ) by the Land Transport Authority (&ldquo LTA&rdquo ). Contract T313 covers the construction and completion of the proposed East Coast Section of Thomson East Coast Line (&ldquo TEL&rdquo ) Xilin Station and Contract T315 covers, inter alia, the construction and completion of the new infrastructures attached to the existing Tanah Merah Station. The proposed East Coast Section of the TEL is a fully underground 4-car mass rapid transit (&ldquo MRT&rdquo ) system with a route-length of approximately 13km, 10 stations and 4-in-1 depot. It runs along the Eastern corridor from Tanjong Rhu to Xilin via Katong, Marine Parade, Siglap and Bedok South. Under the Contract, Tritech Consultants has been appointed as consultants for the provision of QP services for construction supervision and review services for Contracts T313 and T315. The Contract commenced on 7 June 2016 and the QP services are expected to be completed on 28 February 2024 for Contract T313 and 30 December 2024 for Contract T315 (&ldquo Estimated Completion Date&rdquo ). The defects liability period for Contract T313 and T315 is 18 months from its respective Estimated Completion Date. |

Tritech in the past has done 2 similar feasibility study both for JTC .... One in 2007, Tritech completed a R& D project on Master Planning for Underground Space Development & another from 2008 to 2009, Tritech completed an Underground Space Usage Feasibility Study, which covered nine potential industrial usages such as data center, warehouse, R& D center, airport logistics center, landfill, power plant, incineration plant, water treatment plant and reservoir, all to be built underground. Both type of contracts has given Tritech above 50% profit margin. So expect close to S$1mil profit for this contact with PUB coz its only a repeat & every thing will be mechanical. Although 24 months, only 5 meetings is needed to conclude the study. What is interesting to know is PUB has intention to build underground desalination plant in the future. This is where Tritech' s desalination apparatus come in, patented in Singapore, PRC & Australia. Go search google for Tritech' s patents for desalination apparatus.

S$3.5m is only to conduct a feasibility study of the Underground Drainage and Reservoir System .... but once the project contracts is out, it will be even more than S$35m !

Pursuant to the Contract, the Consortium has been appointed as consultants to conduct a feasibility study of the Underground Drainage and Reservoir System (&ldquo UDRS&rdquo ), comprising underground reservoir cavern, stormwater tunnel system and pumped storage hydropower system. Tritech Consultants&rsquo main scope of responsibility is the evaluation of the feasibility and the design of the underground components of the UDRS (&ldquo Consultancy Services&rdquo ). Tritech Consultant&rsquo s share of the Contract Value is S$1,433,123.00 representing 40.95% of the total Contract Value. The commencement date of the Contract is 9 May 2016, and the Consultancy Services are expected to be completed within 24 months. The award of the Contract is a new milestone for Tritech towards its long term strategy of establishing itself as a leading underground space developer in Singapore and the South-east Asia region as we believe in the long-term benefits of underground space for sustainable development. In the past 10 years since 2006, Tritech has been a lead member of SINTEF-Tritech-Multiconsult (STM) Consortium performing the role of Project Manager and Technical Advisor to Jurong Town Corporation (&ldquo JTC&rdquo ) for the on-going Jurong Rock Cavern construction. In 2007, Tritech completed a research & development project on &ldquo Master Planning for Underground Space Development&rdquo for JTC.
