Sure there will be bankrupt trading firms...., oil served a crude awakening.  pasttime      ( Date: 21-Apr-2020 18:36) Posted: the storage is finite.  forecast to filled up by mid may at current rate. they are trying to buy strategic reserve before it is pump up or making strategic reserve storage available for commercial. there is also talk of blocking shipment in since there is not enough storage. all these can reverse the short term situation. mid term rig count already drop to near 2016 low so many months ahead supply from within us will be lower. meanwhile traders are aware fo the risk and jun futures are also coming down to around 16 now.
