Shen Yao has asked Singaporean market regulators for extra time to file its accounts for the year to June 30 as it works on a number of accounting matters with its new auditor, EY.

The last financial information published by Shen Yao was for the three months to March 31 a period that saw profits fall 89 per cent below the same period of 2020.

The next set of Shen Yao accounts will be closely watched by Victorian regulators, particularly with regard to whether the Australian subsidiaries that own the mine continue to lend money to their Singaporean parent.

The Australian companies that own the Ballarat mine have made loans to their Singaporean parent in each of the past eight consecutive years, despite declaring as far back as 2014 that  the Singaporean parent was a doubtful debtor.

According to the last set of accounts filed with ASIC, the vast majority of the loans have not been repaid to the Australian companies that own the Ballarat mine.

 Alert Admin 		As i have mentioned earlier , this counter is fully controlled by the BBs. These BBs will decide on whether to push up the share prices as all other news are irrelevant to them.  😊

 Alert Admin 		The easier way for SY to go up is for Mr. Yao to place out some of his shares to friendly parties(so called investors)
 
These friendly parties will know  how to  do the job. 
 
This is an old strategy that was used by many other companies
 
Recently, Hatten Land(a loss making company) just did that and its  share went up 4 times in one day
 
An old trick, but it works

by end of next week hope SY can remediate the two mining notice A) and B) (potential up to $1M in penalty all together) , a good mining manager is hired and  mining detail plan revised,  then follows the positive AR a week later.

(a) Improvement Notice (Mine Plan) (i) Provision of the Act and/or regulations that is being contravened Failure to ensure that a detailed plan of the mine is kept at the mine. (ii) Directions as to the measures to be taken to remedy the contravention Balmaine must ensure that a detailed plan of the mine is kept at the mine. The mine plan should be updated to reflect the current status of the mine. It should also be reviewed every 3 months or when there is a major change to the status of the mine and updated accordingly if required. (iii) Deadline for compliance 15 October 2021 (iv) Penalty for failure to comply by stipulated deadline A fine of up to A$454,350.

(b) Improvement Notice (Mine Manager) (i) Provision of the Act and/or regulations that is being contravened The individual holding the position of Mine Manager does not meet the industry accepted requirements in terms of experience and qualifications. 2 (ii) Directions as to the measures to be taken to remedy the contravention Ensuring that a suitably qualified and experienced person oversees the responsibility of the Mine Manager. (iii) Deadline for compliance 15 October 2021 (v) Penalty for failure to comply by stipulated deadline A fine of up to A$454,350 and/or the cessation of mining operations until the contravention is remedied. The Company expects that it will be able to fulfil the conditions in the Notices and remedy the contraventions before the stipulated deadline.
