Let me give perspective...out of the low 16.6M trade volume today, 7M was done at 290 while only 2.6M was done at 285. So it was a matter of weak hands who could not afford to pick up...probably those who brought the previous week above 310 level and who did not let go yesterday when hit 305 and briefly touch 310. At these 30 levels, contra nimbly but be prepared to pick up so that can take advantage of oily news... unfortunately oily news does not track our shorten 4 day contra period...so be prepared to pick up or cut losses if get timing wrong. Anyways, the next thing oily news to look out for is OPEC counter measures after Biden coordinated SPR gang fight to OPEC. Now the rumours start that OPEC may lower production increase in retaliation...let's see... | ||||

if no sell off how to pick up cheap? oil counters dont chase high.. load when people sell.. set SL.. so far more win than lose.. net still profits.. only a matter of more or less...make less better than make loss.. oil counters not easy to make money..

Yeah, agree with u that 28.5/29 will be strong support for good rebound. At projected earning with Brent trading in 2H at 70+ to 80+, FY eps could be ard 6c or even slightly more. That would give a PE ratio of < 5.0. If transferred to MB, many institutions would grab at this cheap valuation, when some analysts projected crude to hit > 100 by 1Q22. Byt that time, R hitting 40 or even 50 is not impossible. Just talk only to brighten up the moodies.

I said retracement long overdue...Rex did retrace briefly but no major correction or drop...yes...below 300 to see 28 series briefly but mostly 29/295. Maybe because Barge completion round the corner ...unless Barge is gone case, or major bad oily news, otherwise any drop below 300 is still buy opportunity for me for play play of 200K/300K shares. Even with oil at USD75 average, Rex is super profits for FY2021 results due Feb 2022. Now I wait Barge (end Nov) and OPEC news (2 or 3 Dec). For those who make up your own mind, you can choose to buy for keeps until FY2021 results out then sell. Remember, Rex management announced next target is 45cents/share. For higher price, need improvement in fundamentals like new oil find, MB listing, access to financing etc. Of course, takeover is dream come true. | ||||
