The lesser the better. Contra system is shite. It only tempts weak traders to trade without liquid cash on hand which greatly allows BBs to manipulate the stocks as they knows they useless weak traders won't even have the capability to hold through every T5. Sgx should seriously abolish this stupid system.

Ok..heres my view...those who imagine(thou highly unlikely) that this could follows cefc that had gone to 40c+ during d heyday can try to long but strickly with sl(stop loss) of let say..5pips...for 5 pips risk,u might earn unimaginable fortune...like i did from 7 to 68...btw im an apportunistic with high risk tolerance which is not suitable for most ppl...il take 5 pips risk if i think its time to enter....hiak | ||||

during the good old days..when the contra perion is 1 month yes 1 moth to pay up.... no line trade..u need to call broker..to place/sell orders.. stock market floor cry system.. during market corrections..you will read in the papers..investor/remieser.. jumping off high rise.. then it was reduced to 7 days..n now t+3.. nowadys u dont hear people jumpin off high rise.... maybe gung ho investor one day force the sgx..no contra.. money upfront for every trade ..just like restricted stock.. i hope not in my life time..it could happen |

story time.. have you heard of CREATIVE ECHNOLOGY in its hay day.. this is a real life story.. a naive investor just started to trade just as creative is running mad...for many days ..n she notice the daily topm gainers is alway creative for a while.. when she decided to jump in..buy 1000 shares ..the price then was $32 per share..yes $32 ..no typo mistake..n she was so happy that creative just keep going up... she was over the moon when creative hit $60...yes 60 no typo error.. she decide to buy another 1000 shares.. the euphoria just about ot burst...before you could say geranimo,,the share tank alll the way down to less than $10... just t 2 lots of creative..she has to beg n borrow from her mom to settle the loosses.... so gentle man creative then is the darling of the pc sound card world..with a killer product.. analyst praise it to the sky.. and this poor girl..sewars to her mom never to touch equities agaian in her life.. well heores are made in this scenerio n certaily died young.. good luck to all heroes or heroine..dont die young.. we nned you to pay tuition fees for our retirement for the |

My opinion is if u are not on board this ship, don't try to chase it. The risk is too much to take, u can lose everything overnight. Just imagine putting money into a basket but someone (Chng Kay) will decide the fate of your money.

heroes die young in the stock market... i take my hat for you..for your bravery... but i think most probably u just want to get your point through.. i am still learning the tricks of the trade... and this geranimo is certainly will teach many people lessons in the market i have paid my fair shares of tuition fees already..now resisting the urge to pay more.. good luck to your trades

look like..bbs technique.. dump in the morning..afternoon push n push and finally dump... to prevent price collapse..controll the fall n rise of the shares.. to close near yesterday closing price.. in this way can milk the greedy ..of their money..just becareful
