Am quite certain post demerger wont be 1.20. Expect minimum of 1.30 to 1.35 on first day. Possibly 1.40
The thing is that dont really know how to value sembmarine. If it ever goes to 20c in the open market, it means temasek will be a controlling shareholder and that is attractive. But i dont deny it can drop to 15 to 20c for a while after demerge.
Dont see how this is only worth 1.8x now. Possibly run up in sept for the demerge

but.... but... say your prediction of SCI intrinsic value of 1.20 is correct, i think u might not able to get it... everyone will be rushing in to grab them like myself lol... plus with the TH support (looking at how they support SIA)... so still think price will go sideways and wont drop too much..

So, which option are you taking? For me I long ago write off SMM business, I am holding on for the huge potential and performance of SCI. It can on its own power back to $2.50 minimum.

It's good that SMM holders are selling their shares. Then SCI will own more shares and earn the gains after TH revive SMM. Stay positive :) why is everyone worrying here. The demerger is done and it will only look good from here. | ||||

TH is not going to allow SMM to go bankrupt so soon. Buy at 15cts to wait for TH' s next move. Any news of merger with KOM will push it towards 30 cts. High risk high gain, as much as 100% both ways , if SMM goes down to 15 cts.
