Couldn' t all stocks technically go to zero?  Could you also let us know whether you are currently short, long or have no position in SMM so we take the lead from you?

SMM has become a gambling chip. Either you take all when Temasek privatise it higher than $0.20 or you lose all when it lets it bankcrupt or delist at $0.10. He has option whatever TH decides to do which including privatisation. All the directors subsribe to their full rights entitlement at $0.20, therefore it would be reasonabe to assume that they would want to buy even more at current lower prices, knowing what they know. The only possible explanation is that they can' t buy. Because if SMM is going to announce some positive news soon and they buy now, they would be accused/ charged for insider trading. The same can be said about any Temasek action. Glad that I am in the position to buy more....

Seems that SMM is close to finding a buyer for the 2 almost completed drill ships. Likely a " $300 mil extraordinary gain" event when the deal is done.

x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	pre-demerger sci has ~ 61% of scm sci public shareholders 50.7% and temasek 49.3%. based on your 50% is probably about 1.65 - 2.2b shares the vol of scm sold probably is touching 1.65b. better if your assumption is correct, it would be better to hold on to the " bonus scm shares" . certainly nobody knows when scm will bottom. don' t forget scm is labelled as hot stock, and law of diminishing returns will make the sell down more tailored.  anyway it will find its level soon thanks for all the sharing.  enjoy with family. relax and recreate.    better      ( Date: 26-Sep-2020 12:52) Posted: The SCI retail shareholders received about 4.4 billion of SMM shares. Assuming half of them wanted to sell, the potential supply would amount to about 2.2 billion shares (18+% of SMM). I speculate that this selling wave would continue til the second half of October when SMM is scheduled to give their 3rd Quarter biz update. Personally, I hope that SMM can stay below 15 cents til then so I could accumulate more at favourable prices. The breakdown of SMM ownership Temasek- 42.6% Formerly SMM minority shareholders- 19+% (unlikely to sell as their mother shares and rights shares are acquired at much higher prices than current) SCI shareholders beside Temasek- 37+%
