Smart paueng      ( Date: 11-Sep-2020 20:29) Posted: To be exact, TH only subscribed for 9.8% of right issue share @0.20 or about 1 billions right shares costing $200 millions(not billions). the rest of the sembmarine share TH received free of charge by way of distribution which is about 4,325,715,486 shares(thru 49.3% holding in sembcorp) or 4.326 billions sembmarine shares . so TH cost is only $0.0376 per share.Bear in mind when sembcorp listed many many years ago TH got the sembcorp shares free by way of IPO(owner of sembcorp). So you think TH will buy at 0.20 from you?  if TH has intention to take over sembmarine shares at 0.20 it will not ask for waiver of takeover offer thru whitewash resolution. I wont be surprise sembmarine shares get delisted at super low price in the end. I see many companies get delisted on sgx at few cents . one good example is chartered semicomductor listed at $5.0 many years ago and play up to almost $20 and came crashing down to below IPO price of $5 after Ho Chin resigned as chairman of the company. in the end the company got consolidated into 1 shares for every 10 shares and bought over by saudi (middle east country) at around $2.(which means 0.20 per share due to share consolidation). so the loss is 96% compared with IPO price of $5. lesson learned dont assume that TH will rescue you
