x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	it not the holder that selling bro. remember 67% of floated shares are hold by Temasek. It is the house traders that are hedging on poor 1Q14 result and short ship. They can short long time as long they cover their margin account, when sustainable profit returned there would be a very big short cover as the position are being built over a long period of 2-3 years when the shit started. For now it is range bound till result come out at May or economy data for China /US improves. Volume increase around 0.985 - 1.00 range meaning traders might be accumulating stock now, would not buy it up or sell it down . Put it in another light, Temasek had invested US $4B into ship which is double of the share book value currently with foreign banks supporting it with US $1.5B MTN 800M used. As all know our government very smart in making money and most likely NOL would bounce back in 2nd half due to another 8% drop in cost and a rate restoration in transpacific due to better US economy growth. The fun part is would we see a repeat of carriers collusion in 2012 to artificially jack up rate by idling ships. Now gona wait out the severe winter in US/Europe for improving economy data. By the way this year is a bit different from last year CNY period, at least SCFI hold up well till mid Feb when it give up most of the peak season gain. Come March1 another Asia-Europe GRI 500 and Transpacific GRI 300 at March15. April also got Europe GRI coming and another US GRI in May. Let see if the freight rate spot market behave in a more normal way, going up when it should be going and down as seasonally adjusted.

x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	that is the best part of having temasek as support....haha...anyway if u look at financial result of NOL, its fleet capacity increased from 583k TEU to 640k TEU in 2013 causing oversupply. In 2014, delivery and return of fleets will reduce its capacity to 603k TEU. Hope it will ease the oversupply. I also not sure the fate of retired charters. If u look at friday's transaction, it was holding well at 0.99 until few last transactions (after 5pm) to tank it at 0.985. After weekend, most panic will ease. Most likely will go back $1. However i still not rosy for the outlook of shipping but other shipping company also in red. But even if China is left with only 1 shipbuilder, nothing will change if shipper keep placing order blindly and shipbuilder keeps on building new capacity in the already saturated market. For a hint of the economy, look at the performance of Hutchison Port Holding, IPOed at US1.01. Current price? On a similar note, the recently concluded Singapore Air Show cited many bullish forecast by the official of Boeing and Airbus. Lets wait and see.
