 Alert Admin 		Hi Guys, seek all experts advice.

Have nibble abit on DBS shares at $19, was thinking of surrendering a fix deposit i had gotten 2 years ago (yearly yield of 2.7%) to dump all in at dbs shares. Surrending penalty minus the profits is about $8k

Not looking for short term gains but thinking of holding for long term

 Alert Admin 		in the previous crisis dbs ever went down to 13 and issued rights at very low price and fully subscribed.
after a couple of years it rised back and form new highs.

dont anyhow sell.

The Japanese investment bank cuts DBS's estimated core EPS by 10% and 7% for 2020 and 2021, respectively after evaluating its 1Q earnings. The Singapore bank posted a 29% fall in its 1Q net profit. Daiwa, however, maintains its stock target price at S$24.20 and keeps it buy rating unchanged, citing the bank's solid dividend which is likely to be maintained in 2020-2021. Daiwa expects DBS to maintain its quarterly DPS of S$0.33 through to 2021. Shares are down 1.7% at S$19.63.

If dividend stable through 2021... by then maybe virus play down. Investors may buy into this theory . Dbs would have recovered .

UOB and OCBC will probably report poor results this week and pull DBS share price down.  Collect dividend but share price drop by price of dividend or even more on XD.  US 10-yr yield is also at an all time low.  Sell in May and go away...this statement sound so true.
