x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	&ldquo Muscat, 13 July 2023: Masirah Oil Limited (&ldquo MOL&rdquo ) today announced that gross production in June 2023 from the Yumna Field in offshore Block 50 Oman, amounted to an average of 3,364 stock tank barrels per day (stb/d) over 30 days. The Yumna-3 well experienced an unplanned shutdown on 29 June 2023 due to an electrical failure of the Electrical Submersible Pump (ESP). Solutions are being sought to restart production from the well.  Lime Petroleum AS (&ldquo LPA&rdquo ) today announced that oil production in June from the Brage Field in Norway, net to LPA, amounted to 4,370 barrels of oil equivalent per day (boepd).    LPA holds a 33.8434 per cent interest in the Brage Field At the Yme Field, production in June, net to LPA, was 1,907 bopd. LPA holds a 10 per cent interest in the Yme Field. " Interesting only the Oman oilfield where the Co fully owned and operate, shows dismal production and problem.'

My opinion of this company: They were lucky to find some oil in Oman, but not capable of expanding on it despite their high tech software. The reserves in Oman fields quickly running down. All they are doing now is to buy mature fields in Norway which others want to get rid of, besides investing in iffy ventures like drones and high risk drug discovery. I do not see much future for this company. Just my opinion, hope I am wrong because I am still vested,  please dyodd.

Brent crude futures rose $1.25, or 1.6%, to settle at $81.36 per barrel. The session peak was $81.57, the highest since April 25.
