Property - GLS 1H14: Tapering the residential supply. CapitaLand (CAPL SP/BUY/S$2.96/Target: S$3.83) The Ministry of National Development (MND) unveiled the list of 23 sites (8 confirmed and 15 reserve sites) in the 1H14 Government Land Sales (GLS) Programme. These consist of 20 residential sites (including five executive condominium (EC) sites), one commercial sites, one commercial & residential site and one white site. The sites can yield 11,585 private residential units, including 2,800 ECs and 193,000 sqm (2.1msf) GFA of commercial space. The tapering of residential supply suggests that peak of policy measures may be behind us. We anticipate that residential volumes will moderate by 20-30% over the next year and prices will correct by 5-10% as the cumulative impact of the property measures is felt. You just check the SGX more then 40% are short seller, for the pass few days. As mention previously, there is no interest to push up the price until collection was complete, but when will it complete nobody know.

Should be more than $2 after dividend. nd to know the capital raised help gain bigger foothold on china where opportunities are ample. if drop, can consider using share financing to buy more. dividend can help absorb the interest. buy and hold for two years. | ||||

First time buying shares.not much experience. Bought at 2.98 and it kept dropping....not sure if will go up again...and government introduce new cooling measure to ec few days ago....and not sure i thought stock buy back is good but stock price keep dropping.dont understand.
