Haha....funny you and I were thinking of the same thing - that market dont move in a straight line. Honest to goodness I didnt see your post when I was writing mine. After I posted then I saw your post. Yes, can take some profits but this is the tricky part - where to take. If take too early, later like this...........  I think funds, institutional investors and high net worth retail investors were all waiting for Powell to speak. Now that Powell has spoken and it is blue skies ahead for REITs, I think these big buyers will now all come out to collect. When they all buy, the price can easily move another 5 to 6 cts. Which will take us to the 2.71 to 2.73 region. Hmmmm..................................

UP or DOWN, stocks never move in a straight line. Never. When DOWN, there are rebounds whilst on the way down. When UP, there are pullbacks. Pullbacks are buying opportunities for those who haven' t boarded yet to get in when prices are a few bids cheaper. And for those who wish to add to do so. If you are one of those who didnt buy on the way down becoz your style is to wait for the U-Turn and add on the way up, this is what you were waiting for. Whether you were buying on the way down or waiting for the U-Turn to buy on the way up, if you say to yourself that you will wait for the price to go back down to the bottom at 2.47 then you buy, you will in all probability not be on the boat but on the pier waving this boat off. .

Ya, I suppose Fed will say.... - inflation did not creep back up. - economy is obviously slowing down. - high interest rate is not only discouraging business expansion but also hurting every man on the street who has a mortgage to pay. - rates can stay higher for longer but no need to raise rates to break the economy and force it into a recession. And will likely keep rates as they are at the FOMC Meeting from 31 Oct to 1 Nov. And no further rate hike will be like a booster shot for Ascendas.

Waaaaa........Ascendas is making higher highs. Now can see 2.58 even. And she is not done. If you are wondering how high this bounce can go, looking at her past history, if I any-o-how guess, it could be around 2.67 to 2.71. But not in a straight line up. Do expect pullbacks along the way while on the way up. Go Baby...Go !!! .
