Anyway, why presume that the track record will be the same as Hyflux and keep comparing the past? How Hyflux ending, you think will always apply to other company? If that is the case, are you referring that if you buy a rotten egg, you will never buy egg again because you ' presume' that the ending will be the same as all egg will turn rotten? History is the past and use for learning purpose. Anyway, we are not interested in your negative point.

In a press statement on Friday (Dec 3), Sembmarine said the contract came after the group started rebalancing its product solutions portfolio, with an increasing focus on renewables and other green solutions, since 2015. A Sembmarine spokesperson told The Business Times the contract value could not be disclosed due to market sensitivity. Green ammonia is produced with hydrogen derived from water electrolysis powered by renewable sources of energy such as wind and solar, making it an environmentally-friendly fuel. In contrast, every tonne of conventional ammonia, or grey ammonia, produced generates 2 tonnes of carbon dioxide, given the need to mix hydrogen and atmospheric nitrogen under pressure. Sembmarine' s president and chief executive Wong Weng Sun said LMG Marin can leverage the group' s integrated marine and offshore engineering capabilities and technological bench strength to design the tanker.  The group, meanwhile, noted its participation in a study by the Global Centre for Maritime Decarbonisation (GCMD), where it is a founding member, to define safety and operational envelopes for an ammonia bunkering pilot in Singapore. Nobody should hold a loss making company in mid to long term. wanted to play a swing or contra, if you are good in TA skill and can play with big players, please do it. but hold long term? it was from 5 dollars to today 8.3cents, without a stop of making loss, do you really believe a miracle. If today SCM turn profitable and orderbook increase and give me a positive outlook, will i say it is not worth to buy. x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	Good points.  Many investors who were caught and played out by SMM mgmt are hanging on a slim hope of merger with KOM.  That may or may not happen as covid is still raging with no end in sight.  Even with merger, terms may not be favourable for SMM.  As I said before, KC, KOM and stheir shareholders are not idiots. Time will tell whether there is a merger or not and whether SMM SHs will be played out again. SCM only dare to disclose payment for material & equipment, labour services and employees' s payroll and expenses, total about 100mio. How about those long term debts interest and its maturity, lawsuit penalty, insurance and etc?

This tanker will only be used within Norway in next decade since there are not other Green Ammonia Plant in the world.  SCM shall cut all the operating cost she can till breakeven, and then slowly recover from breakeven to profit. This consultancy shall just let go. Hope Keppel O& M won' t be dragged by disaster management from SCM when merge.

(File Photo: Calvin Oh) 04 Dec 2021 03:18PM (Updated: 04 Dec 2021 05:17PM) SINGAPORE: Employers of S Pass and work permit holders in the construction, marine shipyard and processes sector  will not be allowed to make new applications for their employees to enter Singapore via the vaccinated travel lanes (VTL) from 11.59pm on Saturday (Dec 4). This will also apply to employers of other dormitory-bound work pass holders, the Ministry of Manpower (MOM) said in a press release. Malaysians and female work pass holders will still be allowed to enter Singapore via VTLs and will be subject to the prevailing health protocols, said the ministry, adding that this is because these individuals &ldquo generally do not reside in dormitories&rdquo . The ministry said that S Pass and work permit holders in the construction, marine shipyard and process sectors, as well as other dormitory-bound workers, should come in via the work pass holder general lane. They may also enter Singapore via  ongoing industry initiatives such as programmes with " upstream testing" and isolation in the source country. &ldquo The number of workers entering under these lanes meet industry needs while allowing the entry of these workers to be done at a pace where they can be safely onboarded before entering the dormitories and worksites as these are higher risk settings,&rdquo said MOM. ********************** The above is the complete story. Although KC drop a little today and SCM still around 8.3cts, but the chances of KC going up say to 5.30 5.40 is so much higher than SCM going up to say 9cts or 8.8cts...and KC is a much safer bet or stock to buy than SCM. SCM we dun know if can survive with the current financial status and may go for another right again (I kenna twice lioaw)...KC like din hear of any issue of right, at least to my knowledge lor... Just my humble opinion, to each his own lar...by all mean hold or buy SCM if you are confident of this counter, no right no wrong...I won' t tell you dun buy or wat, is your money, you make the decision lor Why I into SCM is because given by SCI demerger, than stuck with it, let go make some loses, then buy back again when realised that this counter is cheap and the profit percentage if it goes up even 1 ct or half cent is very high...but most of the time loses money..do make a little once in a while when BB pushes it up, but thats it, most time stuck or lose money... dcproperty      ( Date: 05-Dec-2021 20:27) Posted: Yes, yes.
