Syndicates will push only after they have accumulated enough. Got to assess if there is ongoing accumulation that usually reveals through some support level but no aggressive push up and maybe ending with same or 1 bid up on a daily basis.

I believe NOL should issue another announcement to the closure to the earlier announcement issued on Feb 25 that warned of the possibility of being put on SGX Watchlist. I will expect that there will be some details to share why they manage to 'avoid' the embarrassing fate and hopefully give a glimpse of a more positive spin.

The daily short sell list has dropped to around 300 lots and pool for lending reduced to about 2900 lots. |

NOL has over the last 1 mth, came close to the 20d MA that's trending down. I believe it will again rebound to test the 20d MA at close to 0.98. Indeed if it fails to break through, there is possibility of going lower than 0.94. The optimistic scenario is of course a breakout but there is also an alternative scenario which is mildly positive is that it hits 0.98 and falls back to 0.94 to form a base that will demonstrate a triangle formation. This will usually illustrate a strong support that will eventually created a 'break out' when the 20d MA moves down to that level. Let's see how it will pan out. Whatever, I prefer to hold a mid-long term view with a fundamental approach than a technical approach with investing in NOL. | ||||
