They will fly, certainly.  But for how long, before they start to ask for money again. Remember, more flights also mean more operating costs. Without more revenue to cover, one still makes an operating loss. This is something we must all bear in mind,

Next month will see flock of PRC tourists coming to Singapore, visiting Chinatown, MBS, RWS, etc. PRCs are the richest in Asia now. They have tonnes of money to spend. |

NVM just wait first for result out first then consider, if result out drop buy and if up don' t buy, just miss this boat.....It like a gamble......Anyway there is no dividend for years I think.....

SIA should follow Cathay Pacific - just cut or be fired.  If they do not want the permanent pay cuts - just move overseas to get another pilot job.  In fact, SIA should just cut half its fleet, and fire half its air crew and pilots.  Lean and mean is the new way to survive and thrive.   Most Cathay Pacific pilots and cabin crew accept permanent pay cuts |

Already borrowed 2.1 billion.  Debts need to be repaid, right issue and MCB don' t need to pay back. For FY2020/21, in addition to the funds raised during the rights issue, the Company has to-date raised a total of SGD2.1 billion via loans secured on its aircraft and a short-term unsecured loan. The Company also has approximately S$1.9 billion of lines of credit available for drawing, and up to an additional S$6.2 billion of mandatory convertible bonds to be issued, if the crisis prolongs.   |

SIA secured credit facilities from DBS. So, it can choose to borrow from DBS especially now interest rate is low? Moreover, costs of financing MCBs is high. They can probably explore this and DBS has to do national service mah | ||||
