In that sense, one wonder on the effectiveness of SGX Reg in dealing with Spackman Entertainment inspite of the numerous write-ups by Assoc Prof Mak in BT and Governance for shareholders. The IPT occured over 2 years...and SGX just issued queries after queries. Let see whether it learnt anythong from its dealings with Spackman

x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	Agreed, their production are far below their expectation and forecast and Oman oilfields are thier main production. Too many excuses and " breakdown" month after month. They shld concentrate on their Oil production business and glad that SGx issued an regulatory  action on thier IPTs to safeguard investors and a warning to Rex. Shareholders shld also ask for an independent party audit report instead of their own check on their " badly" operation and production . The Co ran circles on the Regulator in the delay in appointing the independent reviewer. The Co ran circles on the Regulator in reviewing, agreeing on the draftof the Independent Reviewer' s report. At the end of the day, what the results, the Regulator looked very ineffective and those responsible for the unreasonable IPT have not been held into account.  So the minority shareholders are the one who see their monies vanished into the so called IPTs

x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	One Co, Spackman Entertainment engaged in IPT at unreasonable valuations, which were also highlighted in the local Business Times by the Governance AP Mak, and what SGX Regulator did was to issue queries after queires. At the end of the day, the listed Co got sucked by the purchased asset with no value.. and its stock price gone down to 0.003 .  They were other abbetting actors, analyst and private equity investor who took placements.  At its IPO, it was trading at 50 cents.  The IPT transaction was literally bleeding the co to death.  Still awaiting for the Authorities to take actions on those who engineered the transactions despite warnings by AP Mak. If the Regulators do not come down hard and fast on such practics, the minority shareholders would be sucked dry.

Most good operating companies will have an ESP on standby either on the platform or on the shore so that if there is any problem with the one that is pumping out the oil, it can be just swapped out and disruption will be miminal. Maybe 1-2 days at most. But these guys have to call in international experts to help diagnose what is the problem and attempt to fix it. When they come up with shit like that, you know Rex is trying to pull the wool over investors eyes because 99% of the people out there don' t know jackshit about oil and gas production. To put it another way, they are LYING. So what are they trying to hide? Another issue is the high salaries these people paid themselves, in  view of the poor performance (substantial decrease in profit) in 2022? These need to be reviewed.

But here in gold-medal standards of " ownself check ownself" Singapore, we have the SGX which is a publicly listed company which has a regulatory arm that oversees the companies that is listed on its exchange.
