STengg finance costs is a big factor that drags its share price down. Down the road, will STengg sell some of its non-performing subsidiaries? Of course if ST can increase the dividend, share price could rise. But against higher interest rate it is tough.

I intend to pick up some shares and keep for dividend and price appreciation in the early Jan of 2023 or beyond.

With today' s high interest rates and almost certain to go even higher, I was wondering if it will be a good move to consider asking shareholders to fund the purchase. But I guess either way, stock price will take a beating. Only question is, where is the floor?

x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	Buy 3.99 at today' s market is definitely a crazy idea. Then again, if it reaches 3.99 it would probably reach 4.10. Poor margin if you ask me. Now, let' s say we buy at 3.30 for a one-year plan, break-even would be 3.14 having factor in the 16 cents dividend (excluding finance costs). I guess it is a good entry point. And that is presuming ST engg has already made a turn upwards. But if it continues to trend lower, then it probably would. No point buying.
