Got this explaination fr the internet : 1)Bonus issues are shares issued by a company to its shareholders based on their existing holding of shares. ... To calculate the share price after bonus issues, companies must divide the total value of shares of the company before the bonus issue on the number of shares of the company after the bonus issue. 2) When a company issues additional shares of stock, it can reduce the value of existing investors' shares and their proportional ownership of the company. This common problem is called dilution.

Q & M DENTAL GROUP (SINGAPORE) LIMITED (Company Registration No. 200800507R) (Incorporated in the Republic of Singapore) PROPOSED BONUS ISSUE &ndash NOTICE OF RECORD DATE The board of directors (the " Directors" ) of Q & M Dental Group (Singapore) Limited (the " Company" ) refers to the Company' s announcements dated 13 August 2021 and 19 August 2021, and the corrigendum announcement dated 16 August 2021 in relation to the Proposed Bonus Issue (the " Bonus Issue Announcements" ). Open at 0.775 and close at 0.735....drop 4 cents..Strange as they have all the positive results and reviews.....even declaration of bonus issue......Could it be due to Ex dividend? Even if so, should not drop so much... it was above 80 cents for July and Aug... even reaching 88 cents....and now....0.735.... | ||||
