The new placement is only 6.5m out of 402m (1.6 per cent only). Doubt it will have an impact - its like 1 teaspoon of colorless syrup added to 3 litres of water. Out of 1.6pc, how many will sell? They buy for the discount then it a well thought decision, not because that want to sell. The bigger pull factor is the company financial performance, their looking forward in acquiring new businesses and opportunities, for the growth of the company. Having said this, ground feeling is that retailer must continue to locked their shares at high. Do not allow borrowing to others.

One impt lesson I learnt when purchase stock for longterm, remeber to protect your shares from being borrowed by trading houses. (exclude shares deposited in CDP) The major holders can buy up when prices is low .. but best practice is to surpress traders from shorting the counter. Always place a sell order all of your shares high, say 0.48 or 0.49. Once placed, it cannot be loaned Shortist need 1) Borrowed shares 2) Money to buy /queue at lower price |

Yes, can wait to buy back lower... It should be near placement price then there is support from the public and BB... Assuming there is no distribution, I am also quite surprised last couple of days BB cant push up even higher once it touched around 40,,, after 3 times cant break 40 wall means have to go down...reason: shortist have laid a trap at 40.. Just be careful...

i believe the full year or 2H21 result will be superb, but still few month to 30Sep and to announce of profit alert in Nov21. so at this time, only can wait and see any buy low opportunity. | ||||

Assuming Half of 6.5m new shares plus any avg of 8m shares to be traded on Monday, BB must be strong to push up.. If follow the last 5 days of price trends and actions, it is like egg knocking against the rock as many whom at 39.5 to 41 are stuck and awaiting to get out.. If price close at 37.5 later , it is even riskier given that there are inflation data from US side tonight that may affect the market sentiment.. Shortist who have shorted around 40 are a higher winning edge over longist.. Just have to be careful if 37.5 give way.. Then it would be near placement price which is worth taking a quick punt..

having said this, it means they are unable to get a discounted price from open market. i believe they can easily scoopt 6.5mil shares from open market, but can buy at 33c? if can then why not they do so, but through a private placement.
