The company operates in three divisions: Subsea Services, Offshore Support and Production Services, and Marine Services.  Based on their financials, this  is a capital intensive business. Even though for most years they are able to turn out positive operating cashflows, their consistent requirement in capital expenditure every year far outweights their operating cashflows by around at least twice. Thus, they do not have positive free cashflows. Free cashflows in business is essential for keeping the business going with recurring internal funding from operations thus minimising the reliance on debts and still provides sustainable dividends for shareholders. For Ezra Holdings, the way they could sustain their businesses given it is running on negative free cashflows is to rely heavily on funding from loans and equity issuance. True enough, the group did raise rights issue not long ago which one of the use of the rights issue proceeds is to repay their debts resulting in the decrease in their share price due to the dilution effect of rights issue. Their net profit margin is generally low at around 6%. The return on equity (ROE) for Ezra Holdings is also generally low at mostly around 4% to 7%.
