But the SIA results on Friday evening were very disappointing in terms of profit. BIG LOSSES suffered by SIA.

However, SIA can survive now because it still has quite a lot of cash from borrowings

 Alert Admin 		SIA can still raise about 6.2 bn from MCBs without further shareholders' approval.
SIA can call for another rights issue subject to shareholders' approval at AGM/EGM.

SIA losing billions, small kids also knows, but y it' s still holding at $3.4, other stocks already becomes penny in same situation. So shortlists are in fact helping bb to accumulate indirectly. Come on, u short can earn how much? At most a few thousands only. Bb like tat accumulate can earn millions in future.

 Alert Admin 		Shiok arh! My strategy is to close. Wait for vaccine to come out, then price up 40% suckers will buy. Im uncle too but im not sucker. Then mkt will realise vaccine not working properly and take a long time for all to vaccine + SIA recover maybe 30% traffic in 2022... i expect 2022 to still be a loss for SIA. But to short, u need to short at high price

If monday open $3.25, i would have earn approx $100k shorting SIA since Jan20. Will close and donate some back to SIA by buying MCBs. Give back $10k. Im so good to SIA

Will close my shorts at around $3.25 which will net me $25k before financing charges.

Then wait for vaccine to come out, let price appreciate by 30% then see if can short again. SIA will not recover till 2024. And even if revenue go back pre covid, the massive dilution on shares will have permanent impact. Its like a car who got into serious accident. Never be the same again. For SIA to fully recover, it probably has to earn 5x of net pre covid profit.
