Companies will be given quota for allowable emissions and if their emissions are above quota, they have to buy 'credit' from companies that didn't hit the quota so that overall emissions are controlled. I haven't look at it in depth but sunsine has been emphasise pollution control for as long as I can remember. Hopefully this would further benefit sunsine.

x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	It was 42 cents on 25.9.16. It didn't move up steadily and in fact hit a Low of 40 cents. Sometimes just have to ignore price fluctuations if we believe in the company. Now the price is 5 cents above 52 week high and I have more reasons to believe this should be the norm price going forward. Right now to 20m RMB acquisition of ' subsidiary' also listed clearly. This refer to the hotel/conference facility they acquired recently. If no further capex is expected, the company is likely to be loan free by Nov 16. I may adjust my porfolio and add more after I receive the dividend payout in May 16!

I checked the numbers and they appear good. Personally I strongly dislike s-chips from experience but I think the ang moh is a good investor and I' m sure he will monitor these 2 coys like mad since he' s invested so much money in them. I did well with Dutech and sold last month. I' m not worried about sunsine but just feel a little pissed off it' s such a laggard. Given time, it should be fine. x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	Yes I am staying put because of decent dividends. I know it is way undervalued. I don't know when market will reflect its true value but the dividends mitigate the wait. Even if nothing happen in he end the returns on investment is still consider good based on dividends alone. If it does rerate in future then so much the better. It will rock when accumulated profits growth and the dividends payout increased. If the compare the financial data of the two, you will be amazed by how undervalued China Sunsine is. Shandong Yanggu Huatai is trading at RMB17.75. And according to data from Morningstar, its EPS = RMB0.28, dividend = RMB0.08, book value = RMB1.89. These give PE = 63.4x dividend yield = 0.45% P/BV = 9.39 ! China Sunsine last traded at $0.385, EPS for 2Q16 = RMB0.1775 and annualised trailing 12-month EPS = $0.08925, this gives a trailing 12-month PE of 4.3x. If it continues to give 1 cent for final dividend and 0.5 cent special dividend (which it has been doing for the last 3 years) , the dividend yield would be 3.9%. The latest NTA is RMB263.48 or ~$0.53, this gives P/NTA of ~0.73x. And just for your info., Shandong Yanggu Huatai Chemical announced its half-yearly results a few days ago. Its sales was up 29.7%, but net profit increased by 204.4% yoy. Similar to China Sunsine, sales for its Insoluble sulphur jumped by 33%. It expects demands for insoluble sulphur to continue and prices for rubber accelerators will improve in the second half of the year. This should bodes well for China Sunsine as well. In view of this, Shandong Yanggu Huatai  is actually planning for a 2-phase capacity expansion for a new 20,000 ton-per-annum insoluble sulphur, 15,000 ton-per-annum MBS and 10,000-ton-per-annum NS (TBBS) lines.
