Yeah i agree though, i cant understand why retailers are aggressively selling down the stocks. It is good to redeem the bonds as the interest rate is too high.
Anyway there is only a float of about 10%+ in the market which can possible explain why the market is not efficient. I am only afraid there there are some bad insider news that the sellers know beforehand. 2 possbilities: either pard help to pay copeinca loans by lending money to cf at low interest rate OR cf having a rights for pard to subscribe.

Remember that brat Isolator & clones who bragged about this stock? 9 out of 10 stocks s/he mentioned went the opposite direction, i.e downtrend. Hope not many followed blindly. |

Where are all the people ??? Just don' t understand, just wanna to know. Pacific Andes dropped due to share dilution. That makes sense. It juz don' t make sense why CF drop when PA (HK) and PA (SG) raise $53m & $195.5m, ultimately to redeem Copeinca Bonds ? CreditSights said bond coupon above 10 percent is " expensive" . Redeeming the bonds will help to reduce their debt and further integration of fishmeal operations, increasing asset utilisation and reducing interest expense. The company said the jump in sales was driven by a strong showing at its Peruvian fishmeal operations where revenue jumped 162 per cent to US$435 million. Humm ... juz don' t understand, will wait and see ... let the dust settle |

It was a good thing that I let it go early. It is attractive now but will wait for it to settle. Pacific Andes Resources Development (PARD), a global frozen fish supplier, announced on Tuesday that it proposes to undertake a fully underwritten rights issue of 3.83 billion new ordinary shares at an issue price of S$0.051 for each rights share. The offer will be on the basis of 4 rights shares for every 5 existing ordinary shares in the capital of the mainboard-listed company. The subscription price of S$0.051 per rights share represents a discount of about 52.8 per cent on the stock' s closing price in Singapore of S$0.108 on Monday, the last trading day immediately before the announcement. Net proceeds of the proposed rights issue, after deducting estimated expenses of approximately $3.2 million, is expected to be approximately $192.3 million.

Both PARD and CF are terribly in debt except PARD' s position is slightly better. Not sure if CF will raise rights in near future. Think they would have to raise rights if they cannot get bank loan for Copeinca' s Bond and the soilcitation failed. However, unlike PARD, CF has paid back $500 mil to the bank earlier in the year. Their failure to secure the bank loan and raise rights would definitely raise alarm among existing shareholders, some of whom might have already priced-in this possibilities recently. |

All the while this fish do not make sense. Good thing went over to Yuuzoo. Let go a bit too early before 0.50 but better than get stuck .... hahahaha Quite irrational, Mother Pacific Andes is funding baby, CF and it went down. Retail investors like you and me also feel it makes no sense .... Wonder what is happening .... should be clearer when the dust settle.

Btw just to ask, Will ChinaFishery have another rights? I read somewhere that PAIH conduct rights to fund the Copeinca Bonds so that CF don' t need to for out money or something.. But just wanna know how this makes sense. Alternatively, i thought PAIH will fund PARD rights, PARD rights will use to fund CF rights... |
