Today price up 2 cents to $1.05. Only on 3 days between 12 Mar to 14 Mar 2024, Loo' s bought at average price above $1.05 but lower than $1.06. But that is only a total of 1 million shares. The rest of the 34,850,000 shares (year 2024) were bought below average prices $1.05. He has made paper profit of more than $1.1 million (excluding brokerage fees) |

I fully subscribed to the mantra that many reasons to sell a stock but only one reason to buy, ie, potentially good things to come by. Sometimes, a founder will take upon himself as a calling (almost like a crusader) to make success of his " baby" , leave behind a legacy etc. I would like to see Dr Loo as one especially he has shown deep skin in the game. I just ride on his coattail with my kacang puteh lots. |

Food for thoughts... $30mil+ can fully pay a good location bungalow with certain appreciation over the years/good rental yields with minimum risk compare to buying company shares which is listed in SGX.. i would choose the former but why did he choose to buy company shares? He should know he alone can' t go against market sentiment and shortists...

Raffles Medical Group
On Jun 27, Raffles Medical Group : BSL 0% executive chairman Loo Choon Yong acquired 800,000 shares at an average price of S$0.98 per share. This increased his total interest from 54.90 per cent to 54.94 per cent.
Since, late February, Dr Loo has been gradually increasing his total interest in the stock from 53.02 per cent.

From long-term perspective, I agree that RafflesM has potential. In the short term, we should get clear pictures to the following 3 questions. 1.Will revenue continue to decline in 2024? 2.What is actual situation in the China hospitals of RafflesM? 3.Why does Dr. Loo buyback share by himself instead of by RafflesM?
