It is good to see CSE is now decoupling from the movement of AEM or the rest of semicon related counters and starts to stand on its own. The shortists yesterday and the past 2 weeks are bleeding from the reversal rise. What' s goes down will come up if the intrinsic value and underlying solid fundamentals remain unchanged despite the past ID issue. What has changed is that the H Funds have shaked up the naysayers till they gave up their last drop of blood,  with now the majority of the scrips are in the latter control.  Have faith and we will be rewarded.

CSE Global acquires wireless business in US for US$8 mil

Even as CSE Global is in the midst of a strategic review involving its shareholders, the company has acquired a wireless business for US$8 million, in a bid to complement its existing offerings.

CSE Global has bought the business, SEI Wireless Solutions, from one Steve W. Regli. Founded in 2009, SEI is described to specialise in two-way radio systems, wireless communication infrastructure, and integrated safety and security technologies.

" The company focuses heavily on mission-critical communications for commercial enterprises, large venues, events, and public-safety-adjacent environments," says CSE Global.

In the most recent FY2025 ended Dec 2025, SEI recorded profit before tax of some US$1.8 million and ebitda of US$1.7 million.

As at Dec 31 2025, SEI' s net book value and net tangible assets were around US$3.2 million.

CSE Global has paid 80% of the sale price and the remaining 20% is to be paid at a later date.

According to CSE Global, it has been engaged in radio and critical communications business in similar markets.

The acquisition of SEI is deemed to be " a strategic fit" to complement its current business and is aligned with its bid to expand its communications business in the infrastructure sector and strengthen its presence in the United States.

Through this deal, CSE Global expects to broaden its customer base, enhance relationships with key business partners, expand its geographic footprint and benefit from growing demand for mission-critical communications, connectivity and security solutions.

" The acquisition is expected to be earnings accretive to the group," says CSE Global.

CSE Global shares closed at $1.25 on July 22, down 3.85% for the day but up 21.36% year to date.

Since Kospi had stabilised and rebounded, CSE might recover to $1.52 range.
