A quick update which I posted on the SIA thread.
The talks ended with agreement by both sides to meet again soon for 2nd round. They also both agreed to do certain things, which I hv no details yet. It could be war matters such as exchange of POWs. I dont know. I think most people are not expecting a quick settlement after just 1 round of talks in this Russia vs US fight over Ukraine. The good news is that Pres Biden want to DE-ESCALATE the nuclear threat. He is NOT raising US nuclear alert. And both Russia & US have not closed their airspace to each other. |
