There?s value in this ?dustbin?of assets that were acquired under different chairmen and CEOs who had no clue on managing the group. Most if not all the managers and directors are parachuted into the denuded goldmine of the past. Now managers like LCH of KC and OBS and gang see value. Let?s the play starts. For the Pro-Sale Camp, there will be a split between those who want a stake in the Keppel and SPH Reits and those who want all cash.  Say 40% want to sell, and its split evenly.  They will now have to get passage at the EGM for the deals, unless the SPH Board rejects one and only tables one good offer, which still leaves the other Pro-Camp in the cold. So, the likelier now is for either (1) one party to give a better priced deal, meaning up the acquisition price, or (2) both will fail, and SPH continues happily.  Either way - I think its a Win for existing SPH Holders.  Sit tight, and let them fight it out.    ahboy8      ( Date: 29-Oct-2021 09:37) Posted: SPH current offer is combine of shares and cash at $2.099.
