Btw I've done well in properties in the past but loss more than half of that in stock trading till the recent US meltdown then stopped for a year due to my money and acc were struck in the MFG issue. Restart only after got back my money....in a way it gives me time to rethink my trading method too. I do less trading with no contra and only in stocks I win before and trade mainly during this year end period. So far so good..... I can relax and have hobbies, have my life back. Some stocks may not have CFD margin then I use my cash and CPF acc. I can say I'm pretty comfortable with my life at the moment. The Singapore-based company said Thursday it would only provide palm oil that wasn?t produced through rainforest destruction and human rights abuse. The policy includes a commitment ?to protect high carbon stock and high conservation value landscapes, and to ensure respect for community rights and support for development,? according to a news release. ?We can produce palm oil in a way that protects forests, clean air and local communities, all while contributing to development and prosperity in palm oil growing regions,? Wilmar chairman and CEO Kuok Khoon Hong said in a statement. ?We know from our customers and other stakeholders that there is a strong and rapidly growing demand for traceable, deforestation-free palm oil, and we intend to meet it as a core element of our growth strategy.? Wilmar?s business venture with Kellogg Co. has resulted in petition deliveries and local demonstrations outside its headquarters in Battle Creek. Forest Heroes, a statewide campaign behind much of the effort here, touted Wilmar?s announcement as a victory. Margaret Kran-Annexstein, an organizer in Battle Creek with the campaign, said dialogue between Kellogg and Wilmar played a role in the changes. ?It definitely has the opportunity to transform the whole palm oil industry,? she said, ?and I think with these new policies, they?re very promising and we?ll absolutely hold them accountable to following them.? Now, Kran-Annexstein said, it?s time for Kellogg to adopt the same kind of policies.

(WIL), the largest palm-oil trader, is pursuing efforts to reduce deforestation and make its products more sustainable. The company will ensure that its plantations and suppliers protect some forests and abstain from using fire to clear land, Singapore-based Wilmar said today in a statement. It also bans development on high-carbon-stock landscapes including peatlands as part of a larger conservation effort. ?We can produce palm oil in a way that protects forests, clean air and local communities, all while contributing to development and prosperity in palm oil growing regions,? Chief Executive Officer Kuok Khoon Hong said in the statement. ?There is a strong and rapidly growing demand for traceable, deforestation-free palm oil, and we intend to meet it as a core element of our growth strategy.? Wilmar also signed an agreement with Unilever (UNA), the second-largest manufacturer of consumer goods, to accelerate the integration of sustainable palm oil into products. Unilever last month said that by the end of 2014, all of its supplies will be traceable to known sources.
