Oil will go back to normalise level once the lockdown / traceling restriction in the world have lifted. x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	crude oil WTI US$28.16 HendriJB      ( Date: 15-May-2020 08:16) Posted: NEW YORK] Oil prices settled higher on Thursday after the International Energy Agency (IEA) forecast lower global stockpiles in the second half of 2020, although worries remain that a second surge in coronavirus infections could occur in coming months. Crude prices have ticked up in the last two weeks as some countries relaxed coronavirus restrictions to allow factories and shops to reopen. Brent crude futures settled up US$1.94 or 6.7 per cent to US$31.13 a barrel. US West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude futures settled up US$2.27 or 9 per cent to US$27.56 a barrel. The market rebounded from Wednesday's losses built on a glum forecast for the economy from US Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell, who warned of an extended period of weak economic growth. That offset an unexpected drop in US stockpiles.

Noteworthy that 2Q2020 for Oman is cheaper then 1Q2020 from 16M drop to budgeted amount of 11M....probably due to lower costs of renting jack up driller. now....as for the oil found in Oman....how much was sold and converted into working capital? it is good that Rex management spend within budget and now waiting for new announcement from Rex Management on Oman oil sold and future plans for Oman.... 11M for Oman expenses already budgeted .....means it ongoing production in Oman....more then 3 times gains from today' s price...? 2XNAV = 30cents coming soon.....and then some more...if Brent crude future prices creep up with more countries near to their lockdown expiry....2Q2020 should be profitable for Rex Oman.

Those who made money deserved the profit for the risks taken. No need grow sour grapes. Fact: 1. What is the track record of the such exploratory cost? 2. A breakdown of the cost will be interesting. 3. Why a whopping US16.4m expensed off during the first quarter when oil price was at doldrums? Rigs vary in price according to, among other things, the depth to which they are designed to drill, and in the case of offshore rigs, the depth of water in which they are designed to operate." so i supposed that one has to pay quite a fair bit to rent oil-drilling rig and still has a lot of other cost like manpower, logistics, etc... LPA Norway get tax refund of 78% annually. Will the work at Oman get tax refund or other form of rebate, similar to Norway? Question is how this update will affect share price..

But after they exit, they are not shameless to condemn every thing they can think of in the company. Such chameleons will not make any difference, as once again we have to remind ourselves that it is the BBs who control the direction of the share price. This was very noticeable today, the share price just won' t fall and ALWAYS ends positive. Haha.
