CSE Global announces contract wins worth $87.3 mil
CSE Global has announced securing two major contracts worth $87.3 million in the US and Singapore.
The technology company&rsquo s first major contract is for the design, engineering, fabrication, installation and integration of complex electrical, instrumentation and control systems and equipment for wastewater treatment plants in the US, which is slated for execution from 2023 to 2027.
The other major contract relates to a multi-year system maintenance contract from the Singapore government in the infrastructure sector.
Group managing director of CSE Global Lim Boon Kheng says: &ldquo We are very encouraged to have secured these two major contracts, as our customers continue to leverage on our expertise and place their trust in our solutions and services. Infrastructure remains a key focus area where we are diversifying our business and these wins are testament to the strength of our strategy.&rdquo
&ldquo These projects are expected to contribute positively to CSE Global&rsquo s financial performance for the financial years 2023 to 2027,&rdquo adds Lim.
For the current financial year ended December 2022, these contracts are not expected to have any material impact on the consolidated net tangible assets per share or earnings per share of the company.

Looking back. I applied for excess rights and was allotted about 58% of the excess rights I applied. Managed to buy from open market at 34 cents per share on 6/1/23 for the remaining amount of rights I originally intended to get. With such hassles, the holding cost is just about breakeven with current price but if factor in past dividends then in profit overall. Now the price action is finally look good but still early days, if cannot break 38 convincingly then likely to turn back down, if can, next acid test is at 41 cents. Let' s see how it pan out.

Its Qtrly results were up 22% to SGD141.1 mm yoy reported in Nov 2022. Today price closed up 37c, up 8.82% !! Good signal of more positive ....to come....

By the way this price is doing injustice to CSE. They had announced that their Order book is much higher than previous FY. Instead of the price going up, the price was shot down immediately after their announcement on Rights issue. The price was shot down from 40.5 to 34 instead it should shoot up to 50 cents.

Yes and 36 was quickly taken out too, with trading volume larger than usual. Temasek should be holding at around 40 cents after rights. Let?s hope that is the base price. | ||||

First step is to get the price back up to pre rights. It was traded well above 40c and frankly, the current price is quite lousy. | ||||

Yes the price already stabalised, downside is tightly limited, the only way is up. Before announcement of proposed Rights issue CSE has announced that their order book has surged and are more than previous year

Post rights issue, Chairman Lim Ming Seong has bought a total of 714,000 @ $0.34 from open market (right issue was $0.33) Guess it is pretty safe to try to buy at $0.335 as the counter has more or less stabilise at current level and wait for the insider to buy up more |

as long supply chain issues not resolved, projects will take longer time to fulfill and eat into their margin. i think the prices will stay pretty muted until early Feb where full year/dividend results reporting |

Rights issue settled. Temasek took up full allocation and maintain its 25% intererst in the company. However, another major holder, i.e., Fidelity, did not take up any of the right issues and its holding has dipped to about 8% from 10%. Meanwhile, the Chairman, Mr Lim, kept increasing his holding through open market purchase in the past 2 to 3 days. As it is, the share price did not move but with the company' s promise of keeping the dividend payout rate, can hold and see. | ||||

I think first day the rights were traded at slightly above 1 cent. If didn' t intend to subscribe, could have sold it for some money. Anyway last day to subscibe based on rights entitlement was on 13.12.22.
