Australia is normally metallurgy coal while Indonesia is thermal coal. Serve different markets. Nevertheless, the price should be in the same direction.

These might be high end quality coal, Geo one is not, hence margin is alot lower

Australia coal has rose USD20 a ton. Geo would definitely follow suit. Just bear in mind do not sell Geo. If you sell, it is as good as you have given up the profits.

Good observation. Price objective is ~ 54 (breakout point from handle) + 12 (depth of cup to rim) = ~ 66 cents |

With iran-backed houthis joining the war, they might block Red Sea, crude oil likely to shoot up bypass US$120 per barrel, thermal coal may continue to rise. This war signals to many countries that they need backup plan for their energy security. Coal is abundant n cheap is best strategic backup for many countries. It seems like all stars r aligned for Geo energy to reach billions dollar company sooner than many analysts hv expected. Looking forward for it to shoot past 60c 🤗 |
