The financial-services company raising SIA's fair-value estimate to S$3.76 from S$3.58 with an unchanged three-star rating. SIA guides passenger capacity exceeding 50% of pre-pandemic levels by December 2021, while Morningstar forecasts passenger capacity to reach 42% by end-fiscal 2021. The Singapore government's plans to introduce travel bubbles for non-essential travel to resume could be the main driver, Morningstar says. SIA's FY 2021 capital expenditure could also be lower than Morningstar's expectation, given the carrier's interim results that indicated capex of S$851 million. Shares climb 13.4% to S$3.89.
