The online platform,  called Shop For Good,  aims to help businesses and consumers stimulate the economy, SPH said last Friday (July 31). It provides free listings of promotional codes and discount vouchers from food and beverage, retail and lifestyle merchants to consumers for an exclusive period of time.

x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	Maybe less of hardcopies but I am sure most people are still reading news digitally from reputable sources think the last time I read a physical newspaper would probably be on the plane (which seems like ages ago now). SPH needs to try and carve a niche for themselves arguably CNA has done a good job to be recognised as a regional broadcaster. Of course when it comes to financial news, the obvious authorities would be Bloomberg, FT, WSJ etc.  What do you go to SPH publications for? If it is just local news, then the captive audience is going to be relatively stagnant since our population growth is marginal to say the least. It really has been a while that I chanced upon a good opinion editorial in ST/BT that is thought provoking but I guess it is helpful to know that they publish ' real' news so we know there is factual accuracy to what we read (presumably).   albeniz      ( Date: 04-Aug-2020 12:19) Posted: Seriously, anybody still read newspaper nowadays???
