Trading Central says the stock remains on on bullish trend after the upside penetration of a medium term declining channel. The 20day simple moving average also reversed up and cross above the 50day. Daily RSI stands firmly above its 50% support. As long as $3.35 (horizontal support) is not broken, expect further advance to $3.65 then $3.75 in extension.

Tested 3.50 twice today....not able to stay above both times too. Also noticed it dropped to 3.44 and recovered from there too. May break the 3.50 level at close to catch the shortists?

Offer for Olam a Sector Re-rating Event: Barclays -- Dow Jones Market Talk

Temasek's tender offer for Olam International could be a sector re-rating event, as it raises the possibility of major strategic shareholders stepping in when valuations become too cheap.

Temasek, which owns 24.6% of Olam, offers to buy the rest of the firm at S$2.23 per share. Olam's shares jumped 11% after the acquisition was announced. ...

Barclays analyst Ephrem Ravi says similar moves could happen to other companies in the sector as they also have sovereign wealth funds, founding families or global majors among their substantial shareholders.

CIC, China's sovereign wealth fund, owns 14% of Noble Group.

Archer Daniels Midland (ADM) is a 16.4% shareholder of Wilmar International.

Despite more than a 20% rally in soft commodity prices so far this year, Barclays says valuations of the sector still have not ecovered to their own historical averages.

Supported by constrained upstream productive resources and growing emerging market demand, the sector will continue to re-rate upward, especially now with a potential for major shareholders to step in, says Barclays.

1) Wilmar (Track Record)
19 Nov Afternoon- Market was at $3.63. I boldy predicted Wilmar will fall below $3.63, from this speculative price, in which shareholders only bought at $3, and anything above $3.15 is a speculative amount. Market closed at $3.62. [I warned that market momentum moving well far $3, and into speculative price of $3.15. The market is bound to suffer a major drop in weeks to come despite naive people insisted on uptrend]
20 Nov- Market fall to $3.52. (The first fall and significant losses of $0.11)
On 20 Nov closing: I predicted that there will be several downfalls beneath $3.52. The downfall will continue with a bigger drop awaiting.
21 Nov- Market fall to $3.48
22 Nov- Market rises to $3.55
23 & 24 Nov- I foresee several tornadoes below the " current speculated price" , & dark clouds awaiting.
The downtrend is gathering significant speculated buyers, before it move downwards significantly.
25 Nov- Market closed $3.59 I saw a very high risk at current level.
26 Nov- Market closed $3.58 (a point lower)
27 Nov- Market closed $3.55 (3 point lower)
28 Nov- Market closed $3.58

16 Jan- Market closed at $3.25.

17 Jan- Market closed at $3.27
20 Jan b4 market open- I predict that Wilmar Price remains at a risk, downtrend will still continue. (low commodity prices will continue to impact Wilmar price)
20 Jan- Market moved down to $3.25, & closed at $3.27. (I foresee that Wilmar is at a surviving stage, before moving down to $3.21 in due time- which is the 2nd Tornado End, before the start of 3rd Tornado)
21 Jan- Market closed at $3.24
22 Jan- Market closed at $3.24
23 Jan- Market closed at $3.21 (Prediction accurately realized) Since end of 2nd Tornado, the 3rd Tornado will begins. Beginning of unthinkable downtrend!
24 Jan- Market closed at $3.20

Prediction revived because of Lucky03 's questioning of too long. So i decided to bring forth the 3rd Tornado to hasten the pace.
29 Jan b4 market open- I predict that Wilmar @ $3.11 is within the higher range of 3rd Tornado. The lower range is yet to be fulfilled.
I foresee a downtrend to continue, before some resistance arises. If the 3rd Tornado is in full force, the resistance will be futile.
