My prediction correct again. so far my correct prediction are 1) SIA $4 in short term 2) Vaccine out in Dec 3) Convertible bonds issue at $4.25 n above  future prediction  1) SIA $5 by year end 2) Aviation fully recover by end of 2021 Sparrow999      ( Date: 13-Nov-2020 00:07) Posted: Don' t think this will affect shares sell down. The last hugh sell down from $9 to $4 is due to rights issue. Bonds only dilute shares when it mature. SIA has the option to redeem its bonds before maturity. Furthermore i expect the current bond will be issued at least $4.25 per bond or above

Unfortuntaely, the market is forward looking. Once the market knows that vaccine is due very soon, it will buy up fearing to lose out.  SIA is gearing towards $5.

One look we already knew who is the main subscriber of its  convertible bonds.   This way SIA can continually raise  convertible bonds to fuel its finance. As we know  convertible bonds mature usually after 10 years with good interest. So, this gives investors more confidence in buying SIA shares bcos  convertible bonds movement is correlated to its mother share price. I expect tomorrow SIA price will rise

" We upgrade our recommendation on SIA to incorporate a better risk-reward balance from three perspectives - SIA' s balance sheet strength, the Singapore government' s efforts to gradually open its borders, and the potential introduction of Covid-19 vaccines sometime during 2021," wrote CGS-CIMB analyst Raymond Yap in a research note on Monday. He added that downside surprises are limited, with aircraft assets already impaired and its equity capital raising completed. On Tuesday, SIA announced that it has upsized its multicurrency medium-term note programme limit to S$10 billion, from S$5 billion previously. This comes shortly after the carrier last week said its new S$850 million five-year convertible bonds have been upsized amid strong investor interest, and will carry a 1.625 per cent coupon. Meanwhile, analysts are also upbeat on tourism-related stocks such as Genting Singapore. This comes on the back of vaccine optimism and the integrated resort operator' s sequential earnings rebound in the July-September quarter. Genting Singapore shares were trading one Singapore cent or 1.2 per cent higher at 81.5 cents as at 1.06pm on Tuesday.
