x 1   x 0  Alert Admin	No point stressing now. I own both counters (quite a lot!) but I am not stressing. I have a different timeframe. So just have to tune out all the noise. But I probably won' t add onto SMM but rather I would pursue more SCI to bring my SCI cost down. Then all my entitlement would become nearly free. Of course there is a risk doing so but the odds will likely be in my faviour. Just an opinion. Doubt if uncle and auntie sell this SM shares...will move the needle much...... IMHO, the hugh volalitity is over already..... x 1   x 0  Alert Admin	It is all based on yesterday' s close price of both SMM and SCI. I posted this earlier: Yesterday, SMM 0.193. Ratio 4.911 means SMM for SCI is 0.9478. Yesterday SCI 1.91. So theoretically price for SCI was 0.9622. Something like that. Of course SMM is now 0.17x so a bit different. On Wednesday (Sept 9), Sembcorp climbed to trade at $1.17 as at 11am, with 32.3 million shares changing hands, making it the second most heavily traded by value on the Singapore bourse for the morning. Its latest price is 21.6 per cent or 20.8 cents above its theoretical price ex-entitlements of around 96.2 cents, calculated based on the stock' s closing price of $1.91 on Tuesday. Sembcorp had hit a high of $1.20 about 10 minutes after Wednesday' s opening bell, and again at 9.46am, according to Bloomberg data. Wanted to buy some but decided not to. Obviously when one buys SCI CE, he would expect that the value of his distribution would fall badly on the 12th. My est is scm would be around 0.175, becos of the huge influx, meaning the distn would be worth (0.175x4.911) or 0.86c. So when one buys SCI at 1.91 at the close ytd, he is paying a theoretical SCI XE value of of $1.05 (ie 1.91-0.86). Anything below $1.05, he can expect making a loss. on the assumption that SCM will fall to 0.175 on 12th. As $1.05 is likely to attract many mid-long term buyers, my guess is that it would trade in the range of $1.05 - 1.15 for the next few days. And thereafter within 1 - 3  months, could rise to the range of $1.20 - 1.40 quite comfortably. But of course BBs hv the last say lah. How SCM would perform hereafter shd not affect SCI after XE since SCI does not own any shares in scm anymore, and as TH has already taken over.
