A good example is whenever there is news of merger, it is always deemed as bad news and if merger didn' t go through then price goes back up again. The only good news is when big fish eat smaller fish and being bought over.

Usually if good news will come before the session starts or after the session ends and if bad news then trading will be halted during the session. " stay still where there is good news" - because this counter is currently over-valued + forecasted negative earning growth + negative sales growth.... " go up when bad news" means got " somebody" absorb/accumulate/support behind when the normal traders/investors throw down... Whatever is it... lets hope that it is a " bad news so that it will shoot up" ... lol
