Can I ask what are your thoughts on the share price during the rights trading period - why are you counting the days? My basic understanding is that share price should theoretically already factor in the fact that it is trading ex-rights (i.e. already diluted). Even at the diluted level, Yongnam is only trading at 0.28 P/BV (from what i see) with BVPS of 0.87. That' s why I see potential. Anyone can share your thoughts too? DYODD for potential investors.

Er, I don't think u should short... Cos prospects of coy in terms of announced deals seem quite good. Just my humble view la. DYODD and if U make money from short then good for u also.

This is really another SAD case about stock in SGX......the right price is just the current price ( or so near that its not worth to subscript ) ... Yongnam R is only 0,001 ....so who will benefit to collec them ???? When a company ask for a right issue ( and a underwriting is appointed ) SGX is just to approved it .......???/ MORE SO ...with 20 c rule and market conidtion and expected take up ....SGX job can be MORE than just ok an right or shoudl they ensure public investor interested are PROTECTED.....sooner not later....SGX Singapore shares are all going to suffer with this policeing.

Yongnam management driving share value right to the ground. First came the consolidation which was to supposedly to help it meet the MTP ruling, now the rights issue has driven the shares right back to 20 cents level. Long term loyal investors basically getting screwed by the board' s gross incompetence.
Dun anyone is subscribing if the shares keep depreciating this way.

Is getting more cheaper with its Rights Issue now. Gained so much contracts thru the yrs but still unable to self-sustain with his profit earning, useless management.

Quite a lot of property-related counters also up. I' ve a haunch that all these are related to speculations abt some " help" from the forthcoming budget. Constn, especially, has been known to be accelerated during downturns as part of fiscal stimulus. N yes, Yn has over the last yr quietly been taking measures to turn around which seem to have been rewarding, n it has also been increasing sales nicely too. So, gd luck to u. Hope u huat.
