Anyone know why IG market decided to pull off live feed trading for tawana? Something wrong? Use to be live feed but now 20mins delay ....
Something wrong with tawana? Some lithium counters that gpt into this delay feed are those having issue internally... like AVZ AGY... Something is strange why we are grp with those non dodgy producer minera for 20mins delay feed... |

Looks like market gonna fly... lithium ETF up 1%+ last friday alone... funds flowing into lithium counters... see AJM looks very cheap 31c... bigger resource than Alliance ... though AJM china offtake has some issue.. but lithium is hottest resources around the world right now.... should be ok..

Monday is the EGM. Likely some selling pressure with the coming 13.25M compensation shares issued to the group of 8 individuals. At the minimum, former CEO and his wife will likely sell off their compensation shares of 7.5M. | ||||

FYI sept.2016 tawana is trading 12c... and tawana @ that stage only have half of cowan...
And now tawana only value cowan shares 0.95c for existing holders ...its even stupid to approve it... how silly is investors over in hotxopper LOL

In 2017 Tawana just consist of few piece of land that has potential for lithium..also know as cowan and its trading around 10c+
Then mid 2017 successfully owns half of the bald hill project and valuation went up to 40c... as it went from developing to producing lithium Then in 2018 it wantes to demerge its cowan assets... which means back to square 1... so alliance will have full bald hill project @ a larger market cap... And cowan is given valuation of 0.95c... Tawana MC really con by giving so little cowan shares to exisiting investors...it used to trade much.more than that in 2016.. Everything went back to whats in 2016 state after the merge of alliance n tawana... cowan is really the old tawana Alliance is alliance but change of management Wow.... the magical of deals .... lol everything went back to its owner |

Prominent economist Saul Eslake says the next boom in the mining sector is most likely to be driven by battery metals.
?If there?s likely to be any new boom in commodity prices it will probably come more from metals or commodities that are crucial to emerging technologies like electric vehicles,? Mr Eslake told 800 delegates today at the Resources Rising Stars conference on Queensland?s Gold Coast. Mr Eslake ? a former chief economist at ANZ and Merill Lynch ? said electric car demand had already driven a significant upturn in the price of lithium and cobalt, both of which go into electric vehicle batteries, as well as a turnaround in the nickel price. ?Aluminium could also potentially be a beneficiary of emerging technologies in transport and communications,? he said. Pilbara Minerals (ASXLS) boss Ken Brinsden, meanwhile, did his best to allay concerns that lithium-ion batteries would be replaced by other emerging battery technologies. ?Battery technology is like a giant leap in terms of energy density and weight, and as a result the world has now placed its bets and started investing billions of dollars in expanding the lithium-ion battery supply chain,? he said. ?Again, there are those that worry about new battery technology that is just around the corner. Well I can assure you they are not just around the corner.? Battery technology takes decades to develop and critical mass and scale must be established so they become the cost competitive solution, and that?s exactly what is happening with lithium-ion batteries, according to Mr Brinsden. ?So we easily now have a couple of decades worth of supporting growth in the lithium-ion battery,? he said. While many might think the Americans, in particular Elon Musk?s Tesla, are the drivers of demand, in actual fact China and South Korea are at the ?forefront?. Pilbara Minerals is developing the Pilgangoora lithium and tantalum project ? one of the biggest hard-rock lithium projects in the world. The $1.5 billion company has already signed on China?s Ganfeng Lithium and General Lithium Corp and South Korea?s Posco as buyers of its lithium. ?China was the first to twig to the value in the hard rock lithium raw material supply base,? Mr Brinsden said. ?They had the leading technology and they?ve proven up a huge supply base now to continue to expand their lithium-ion supply chain. There is massive growth going on there. Everybody is underestimating how quickly they are moving.? In 2016, China was already the world?s largest lithium raw materials demand base, and it grew a further 50 per cent. ?50 per cent growth, it?s absolutely extraordinary and it?s still happening because we still get people knocking on the door every other day saying can we secure more raw material supply,? Mr Brinsden said. ?The same is happening in South Korea and it?s being underestimated.? |

May 29 (Reuters) - Australian lithium miner Galaxy Resources Ltd (GXY) agreed on Tuesday to sell a package of mining tenements in Argentina to South Korean steelmaker POSCO 005490.KS for $280 million. The land is located in the northern area of the giant Salar del Hombre Muerto salt flat. Galaxy will retain ownership of all tenements in the southern basin. The company intends to use the proceeds from the deal to fund development of its flagship Sal de Vida project. "This transaction with POSCO provides a substantial cash injection which underpins the development of Galaxy's Sal de Vida brine project in the Catamarca Province of Argentina", Chairman Martin Rowley said. Galaxy had earlier appointed JP Morgan Australia to evaluate "strategic options" for its Sal de Vida lithium and potash project in Argentina. Sal de Vida has the potential to generate total annual revenues around $354 million, scaling up to 25,000 tonnes per year of lithium carbonate and 95,000 tonnes of potassium chloride, according to the company's website.
