Rig count decreasing. Doubt they have that much ability to hold... Probably just waiting for the surge in oil prices (for a prolonged enough period of time to instill confidence), then they will up shale

next week, oil i think will continue to march higher toward 42$, I think so, profit taking over, BB coming back from holiday will push. Good luck, and hope so. |

I think before this news, oil was 37. then it soar into 41.XX, BB knew abt this first before CNBC and Marketwatch report and push it to 42$ before profit taking come in, then nw it is time to push back up. that is why mkt is always ahead of real rig count.

I analyse my chart again, just my 2cents worth. Oil is heading higher next week. we see it back abv 40.83 then 42.89. short term pain is mid term gain. O n G counter will benefit from this, copper too look bullish. i think all commodities to soar inot Q3 |

US Oil Rigs Resume Slide, Drop By 15 In Past Week To New Record LowThe decline in US oil rigs has resumed, and as of this moment there were only 372 oil rigs operating in the US, down 15 weekly and the biggest drop in the past moth, to the lowest number in recent history.WTI has staged a modest rebound on this latest negative (for US GDP as it means even less dollars are spent on capex) news, pushing it to intraday highs, about $1 higher from this morning' s lows.
