Imagine how many people will lose money on Monday if UE corrects hard. Companies in the thick of M&A discussions will not say they are aware so as not to scuttle the deal. Does Sgx know how markets work?? Apparently not! Just because of termite infestation in asiason, lion gold, blumont.. Instead of killing the termites, they are burning the whole house down.. Twc this, twc that.. OCBC and Great Eastern were in talks to sell their stakes in United Engineers to Thai beer tycoon Charoen Sirivadhanabhakdi, but the bank said in February 2015 that the deal did not pan out.
