 Alert Admin 		that' s very likely, cos it is not about merger but divest of oil and gas division. 
it is also nothing to do with scm.
scm has definitely consolidate its operation after the demerger. like any new entity, scm has gain strength and stability to move forward.
that also explained why it has been rather quiet/silence. going forward we should be hearing more announcement

 Alert Admin 		​ dyna-mac maybe small but with temasek support is feasible. beside the ceo of dm understand the entire operation of kc oil and gas division.
in this aspect, i have agreed with you fully but not keppel acquiring dyna-mac. instead dyna-mac to acquire kc oil and gas and morph to become a larger outfit.

 Alert Admin 		scm has been and now doing what they have been doing oil and gas industry. as such don' t forsee near term merger is about scm.
kc oil and gas has been ear-marked for divestment. 
we should be watching the activities in scm after the demerger and consolidation.

 Alert Admin 		from danger created thread, he said keppel corp acquire dyna-mac which i find difficult to envisage. however if you look at the structure of dyna-mac. mr lim ah cheng was formerly from keppel corp oil and gas industries moved over to be ceo of dyna-mac. danger mentioned keppel corp, temasek and estate of lim tze jong owned more than 90% of dyna-mac. temasek is best suited to bring about the divestment. it is almost like a simple rto. dyna-mac maybe a small outfit but with temasek support, it is possible

maybe that' s why after the demerger of scm, their focus is not about scm, rather to allow consolidation of the new entity and the restructure of the company organisation during the last 3 months. interesting to note the price movement of kc and dm are almost in tandem.

But whats the rational to take over DM? Keppel have so many yard, but no buiness. If they take over DM they will ocur additional cost for DM yard day to day running.

DM build module for FPSO, KEPPEL is also capable of doing that.

Just collected some at 14 cents.    laugh

CEO Wong paid $3.8mil for right shares at 20 cents (30% discount Christmas sales now) because he knows SMM is worth at least 50 cents per share.

If you cannot buy, waiting is always free. 14 days to D day.

Til then, Temasek has instructed SMM to maintain radio silence....even  if they have already won a few major contracts.

More manipulation, more opportunities. Trade safe!

A wholly-owned subsidiary of Keppel Corporation has entered into an agreement to undertake the development of its first solar farm project, Keppel Corp said on Tuesday.

In the agreement signed through its wholly-owned subsidiary KRE Anchorage, Keppel Renewable Energy (KRE) agreed to pay a nominal sum of A$540 (S$545) for a 45 per cent stake in Harlin Solar Pty Ltd, a special purpose entity established in August 2020 to develop a large-scale greenfield solar farm in Queensland, Australia. The acquisition is subject to approval by Australia' s Foreign Investment Review Board.

if anyone has been selling big time, by adding all the dots together, you probably guess it is uobkh. maybe investors don' t buy in to their 14 dec " analytic report" . what next ...they came out with another report on 21 dec ... alamak 😩

Wash trading or LEFT hand sell to RIGHT hand is happening in all stock markets and in most actively traded stocks.

Not illegal for A to sell to B and B to sell back to A unless they are the same entity.

Even if they are the same entity, they cover their tracks well so It is almost impossible to prove. That' s why MAS or SGX will not waste their energy on this.

For all investors and speculators, we have to accept that manipulation is always part of the game.

And small astute investors are not at a disadvantage buit rather at an advantage because of all these manipoulatiuve activities. The more manipulation, the more opportunities.
