Based on SGX announcement, the new CEO Brian McKinley acquired 650,000 units of APTT recently at average price of $0.48077 per unit via open market transaction. Working out the calculations, he paid about $312,500.50 (excluding brokerage and stamp duties). His percentage of the total shareholdings now stands at 0.06%. Though it is not much percentage of the total shareholdings, it is still a vote of confidence as he assumes his new appointment as CEO. Watch out for their FY2017 1Q results to see if there are any indications of positive improvements currently or in the near future to come. As long as APTT' s cash flow shows early signs of improvements this year, the distribution guidance it has provided for this year can be confidently met. And with improvement in its cash flows, the unit price has only one way to go, which is going higher. This is because it does not make sense to trade at a high distribution yield of more than 10% on improved fundamentals on its cash flows. Let' s see how the new management team under the new major shareholder Mr Lu (described as a veteran with good connections in this industry) will take APTT going forward this year. |

Sorry, I do not short this as i" m collecting since during price 0.40 - 0.45 I' m waiting for the breakout at 1 pip of 0.50 Having say that, I will also monitor it closely how the breakout like, Just worry that false breaking too.

Seems like you shorted this APTV. Before the dividends fall to 6.5 from 8.25, the price, it already is at around 60 cents. If this year maintain dividends at 6.5 cents, why wouldn't the price rise back above 50 cents or more? Unless the dividends is cut then maybe will fall below that. For now seems the management reassure in the dividends. And I believe that APTV still can survive well and worth at least 51-52 cents ba. Let's see how it perform next quarter.
