x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	Company reporting results next week. Losses already expected but what will the market think? Maybe risk/reward looks interesting here since bad news all priced in. But at the end of the day the management don' t know how to operate their field in Oman and the Norway blocks they bought look like crap with production winding down (and they are operated by other companies so Rex' s destiny is not of their own choosing). Also management and board are thieves since they pay themselves so handsomely while share price cratered. I would not touch this with a 10-meter pole.

At $80 oil price, Rex must be THE ONLY OIL COMPANY IN THE WORLD to not be able to turn a profit at that price. Let&rsquo s see how RH Petrogas does &ndash am sure they are miles better than crappy old Rex Debt has gone through the roof. In 2014, the company was US$82m in net cash and no debt. As at end-2023, the company had built up US$101m in debt. Yes net debt to equity was only 5% at end-2023, but at the rate that Rex has been issuing debt lately, it will have crashed through US$150 to 200m in debt by end of this year. Management and board paid millions &ndash one of the highest IN THE WHOLE SGX! But look at the massive value destruction. Market cap at the end of 2013 was $516m and now it is $143m. That an average of 11% value destruction PER YEAR. If the company issued share certificates, maybe more useful to wipe your bum with it? The legit question is: what are you getting by paying the management and board so much? Interested party transactions and conflict of interest &ndash yes the company is putting money into cancer therapy and drones. Value creation for an oil company? haha So put your money into this at your own will. You will lose money &ndash that is guaranteed.

The CEO is getting around $2.4-$2.5M remunuration and plus the Keys manangement personnel total around $8M even though is lesser than 2022Yr. Rex highlighted that the Oman Oilfield will be improved after the monsoon session Sep 2024. Wonder how true is it?
