Heads up... An unauthorized early release of Intel quarterly earnings show that both sales and profit beat expectations. However, the street does not like its plan to do more licensing deals with rivals Samsung and TSMC. So expect Intel to fall tonight, hopefully not by much. May affect AEM price next week. It has been climbing steadily past few weeks, so people may use this as an excuse to exit. I expect it to dip on Monday, at least. But I would rather be happily wrong. |

5? possible, but maybe not so soon. it just came up from 300s not too long ago. it needs to consolidate and breathe first, before continuing up. once in a while, there are BBs who short, so that will be a good time to pick up, after they are done shorting. at the end of the day, AEM needs to diversify its business, especially in automotive and 5G, to service wider customer base, as well as their main client Intel who has gone into autonomous driving as well. if they can do that soon, or at least announce they are going to do that, then 5 can be reached sooner than later.

Yes US market is definitely more liquid / volatile. I have interests in US / HK and SG. But 2021 has proven different, with SG market outperforming. Laggards have came out to play, if you know what to look out for.
