x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	Just out yesterday , a confirmation of arranged talk end Aug .  Whatever, the outcome, its a positive move forward for both side. More so , it ONLY show that both parties wanted a solution which may take mths but may eventually settle on something. ( even partial agreement is good for world growth ) DBS is continue to do share buy back .....companies do this when their is VALUE in its stock . ( not just during CD or XD time) At the end of the day , when their is value , companies do buy back as per their internal justification. DYODD......our DBS is now one of the largest n best bank aro this region. Happy investing. FATABA      ( Date: 16-Aug-2018 13:37) Posted: Just my personal input on recent banks share....... Many blame on the recent PCM as a main factor in the drop of bank shares......if so , the effect wld hv alrady be factor in . On the other hand, PCM is also good as it limit speculation n avoid bad loans.  More so , the rise in interest rate cld more then off set this ( of course debatable until next few qtrs) More so ....the MAIN factor is the trade war .....any further actions for either side cld spell big issue for ALL countries n global trade. Just any news of " potential talks bet USA n CHINA) ...wld reverse share directions most likely quickly . The issue is when?    Personally both leaders is NOT looking forward to a trade war.....its a matter of how n when they hv a solution However a wrong move on either side wld be big issue.  Let hope not .......time will tell
