x 0   x 0  Alert Admin	Forced buy-in is done via the broker, so we as investors will not know the price that the " scrips-ready" are being asked for.   Normally it is 3 pips above the last close and the SGX will buy from the offeror who gives the " best" price to help the short-sellers get the scrips and get away with it sometimes making the shorting very worthwhile, if the offer is below 3 pips. Only the brokers can access the information about the numbers of shorts to cover or the offer price in the queue. We have to ask the brokers for the prices. It is more like matching but you " may" get better prices but have to deliver immediately from you CDP. If the short-seller is lucky, he gets at the market price because someone offers very cheap to him and the SGX will match. clickshop1628      ( Date: 19-Nov-2015 10:27) Posted: We wont know the net short position. I think the published short sale figures are not the net shorted numbers until the records at SGX are balanced, so I think the figures are only accurate one day before the buying in day..

Yuuzoo at current price of 22c to 23c is the price when they announced the Nigeria Lotto deal. For the very good result and the UK football sales, these seems yet to factor into the price so still have room for Yuuzoo to make a comeback from days of bashing from Shortists.

Those are marked short sell when they key in the sell order, that' s all. They are not outstanding shorts. I have done it before so I know. SGX don' t tell you how many not covered. Of course, got those borrow scripts ones they have to cover but no hurry. We don' t have these statstics of how many there are.
