I guess we just have to get used to that. I also added some SCM today. I had subscribed for 20,000 shares at 20cents. Luckily didn't subscribe for the full 100,000 shares. Only took a 20% subscription. Now will continue to add up the remaining 80,000 shares from the public purchase with a lower price. I need to have a hold mindset for SCM. Don't see it recovering anytime soon, unless the big shareholder come out with something early. You guys know who is that big shareholder. Buy I doubt there will be charity at this time of crisis. Everyone cares for his own pockets first. DYODD.

Any person with right frame of mind would know whta is your agenda.Do you want to get cheap proce for SMM. Then Tang ko ko.

SCI shares were free to TH during its IPO then?  TH has no obligation to rescue any parties.  Why TH want to takeover SMM? Q to buy SMM, think I will buy more if below 10 cents.  Believe both SCI and SMM share prices can go higher.   paueng      ( Date: 11-Sep-2020 17:45) Posted: Sembcorp industries has distributed 8,774,270,764 sembmarine shares to sembcorp shareholders today.there are total 12,555,229,044 sembmarine issed shares after right issue,but only 303,594,369 sembcorp indutries shares in issue. the ratio is 1 sembcorp shares to 41.355 sembmarines shares. more tha 43 times. taking into TH holding of 49.3% of sembcorp shares ,there are only 151.5 millions shares in minor shareholders if you exclude major fund holding it will be even less. but on the otherhand sembmarines has tons of shares 12.555 billions shares.retail investors have about half or 6.3 billions shares .the other half owned by TH(thru distribution and right issue). 72% of sembmarine shares are given free to sembcorp.can you  imagine the selling pressure from retail investors when they receive CDP letter of free sembmarine shares. I wont be surprise sembmarines share price may drop below 0.10 in coming weeks. TH is not allowed to buy as it has the waiver of take over offer under whitewash resolution. The logical way is to sell the sembmarine shares and use the money to buy sembcorp industries reason being much lesser shares and no pressure and better prospect.
